Asbestos Registers, Management & Consultancy
Non-domestic premises must by law have been checked for ACMs (Asbestos Containing Materials). This information must then be recorded in an asbestos register and be maintained on site for the entire life of each building. The register must be made available to those people with an interest who request to see it, for example to any visiting contractor such as electricians or plumbers, in order that accidental exposure can be prevented. The register should be periodically updated.
Merryhill are able to advise you on the setting up of your asbestos register, how to present and manage the information, or how it can be managed on your behalf. We can also undertake periodic reviews and analysis of your ACMs to ensure that your register remains up to date and valid.
